Bless you Christina - Truly touched and humbled to read your shoutout to me...Thank you πππ
Writing is deeply personal and the platforms are great for us to showcase our talents, thoughts, wisdoms but can also become our nemesis if we allow them to do so...
The algorithms, clickbait, comparisons, carrots dangled for curation, anticipations for going viral, numerous stories on how to write, what to write, getting followers and so forth....neurosis soon sets in, feeling burnout and writers block....
It is a personal journey and the more you focus on your sole path and not be influenced by other distractions, comparisons and the monthly stripe payment.
We place far too much pressure on ourselves and need to let go as it allows us to grow in other ways too...it is vital for us to take timeouts, do new things, spend time in nature, enjoy sunsets and sunrises, self care rituals...
Persevere, persist, challenge yourself to write something fresh, try other forms of creativity such as photography so you have your own unique photos to upload...keep reading, keep creating drafts even if they are just one sentence you can go back to when in the right spirit to add and finish.
Keep going no matter what...we are all here to learn and showcase our passions, talents and purpose no matter what!!!
I wrote about my view and experience on Writing platforms that many will resonate with.
